Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress at Shark Club UK is employed to ensure customer satisfaction in our bustling, high-energy sports bar and grill. The successful candidate is expected to provide top-tier service while working seamlessly as part of an integrated team. This position involves direct interaction with our customers, therefore a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are paramount.

Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and seat customers in the dining area Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff or bar Ensure that meals and beverages are correctly prepared before serving to ensure quality Answer customer questions about the menu, including meal ingredients and preparation methods Handle customer complaints professionally and notify the manager when necessary Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth operation Adhere to all health and safety regulations Ensure tables and dining area are kept clean and tidy

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Waiter or Waitress is required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced work environment Knowledge of POS (Point of sale) system is advantageous Familiarity with food safety regulations A professional and presentable personal appearance Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
