Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Process payments accurately using basic math skills. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards. Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure efficiency.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Good communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
