As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Culinary experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members positively.
