Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to proper serving techniques and presentation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist with food preparation as needed, following all food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a serving role. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
