Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Present menus, explain menu items, take orders accurately, and answer questions regarding menu items and specials. Provide recommendations and offer suggestions to guests when requested, considering their preferences and dietary needs. Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service; address any concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order delivery. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and dining utensils. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions according to restaurant procedures. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in all aspects of service.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Knowledge of basic food and beverage service principles, including wine pairing and menu details. Attention to detail and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and diplomacy. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the restaurant's schedule.
