Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and culinary delights. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain an organised dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to learn about food preparation techniques and culinary offerings is beneficial. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
