Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail in order entry. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Pay: 12.21-13.71 per hour
