Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety and culinary practices, alongside excellent guest service skills. This role requires effective time management and the ability to upsell menu items while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Maintain an organised workspace, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the establishment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables. Outstanding guest service abilities with a focus on hospitality. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 1,500.00-2,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
