Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing detailed menu information and upselling where appropriate. Deliver orders to tables efficiently and ensure that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as required. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong understanding of basic maths for handling transactions and managing bills. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. A friendly disposition with outstanding communication skills to enhance guest interactions. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
