The Role

We're looking for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join the team at

The Alfred Tennyson, a stunning venue in Belgravia combining refined dining and vibrant pub hospitality under one roof.


In this role, you'll bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering the best experience to our guests. You'll work alongside a friendly team, learning and growing your skills while supporting the smooth running of daily service in both our elegant dining space and lively pub area.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring their experience is memorable. Take and serve food and drink orders efficiently and accurately. Assist with table setup, clearing, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth, coordinated service. Learn about our seasonal, locally sourced menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Contribute to a positive team culture and support training initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality role, ideally in restaurants, bars, or pubs. Enthusiastic, energetic, and guest-focused approach to work. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required. Desire to learn, grow, and develop within the role. Flexibility to adapt to a busy, dynamic environment. Must have or be obtaining a NI number and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
