Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and a keen understanding of our menu offerings. Your ability to engage with guests, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards and proper serving techniques. Ensure that tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout the dining experience, including clearing dishes and resetting tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, addressing any guest concerns or special requests efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including assisting with general restaurant upkeep. Handle payments accurately, processing transactions while maintaining a high level of guest service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a passion for guest services is key. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary skills are advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy service periods. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike. A willingness to learn about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to enhance guest interactions.
