Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic math skills to process transactions efficiently. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, aiming for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. Experience in serving or culinary roles will be an advantage. Strong time management skills are necessary for handling multiple tables efficiently. A passion for guest services and an ability to create memorable experiences for patrons is crucial.
