Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders while demonstrating excellent time management skills. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully. Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed, adhering to culinary standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen to meet health and safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A keen interest in culinary arts and guest services will set you apart as an ideal candidate. Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Duties and responsibilities:

greeting customers as they arrive and showing them to their table giving out menus and taking orders for food and drink serving food and drinks dealing with bill payments making sure tables are clean and tidy be on hand to answer any questions and make sure that customers enjoy their experience. ensure customers feel welcome and comfortable throughout the event perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner perform reasonable alternative duties, as instructed by your Manager
