Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests' satisfaction throughout their visit Assist with food safety practices and maintain cleanliness of work areas according to health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and presentation Handle guest queries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Process payments accurately using the POS system and thank guests for their patronage

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; enthusiasm for guest service is key Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills accurately Experience with guest services, upselling, and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
