We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean working environment. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, enhancing overall guest relations.

Skills

Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic culinary knowledge and food handling experience are beneficial. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales performance. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience as a hostess/host is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food service industry is essential.
