We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service, from taking orders to serving food and beverages. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide attentive service will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders, using your knowledge of the menu to upsell items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are correct and presented beautifully. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain a smooth workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing help where necessary to enhance their experience. Process payments accurately, using basic maths skills for transactions.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial for effective communication with culinary staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 8.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
