We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House staff to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers enjoy their dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food with a friendly smile.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiments. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns effectively. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as part of the payment process. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills accurately. Experience in serving or culinary roles is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Strong guest service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and resolve any issues that arise. A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests.
