We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling practices. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Experience as a host/host or in guest relations is beneficial. Pay: 12.21-13.51 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
