Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable waiter/waitress to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and guest relations. The successful applicant will be organized, efficient, and passionate about providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any needs or concerns Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables and side stations Follow food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is required Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety standards, and basic culinary practices Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance Experience working in a team-oriented setting within a busy restaurant or cafe environment
