Our family oriented restaurants are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join our team in both our vibrant restaurants in Shoreditch, East London and Fitzrovia, Central London (the advert displays only Shoreditch Location so please consider also the Fitzrovia one). The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a keen interest in the culinary arts. You will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Be able to make some basic cocktail and confident in wine pouring Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items and preparation methods.
