Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while checking on guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Experience in a restaurant environment is preferred, with a focus on guest services. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. A passion for hospitality, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and team members.
