Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic waiting & Bar staff to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest services. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their meals and have a memorable visit.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills to process transactions. Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to food safety standards during preparation and presentation. Provide recommendations to guests, upselling menu items where appropriate to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction. Assist in the training of new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary practices and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services; ability to engage positively with customers. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts is an advantage, along with an eagerness to upsell menu items effectively.
