We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest queries effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene are upheld. Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Strong hospitality skills with a commitment to providing excellent guest services. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A passion for the culinary arts and willingness to learn about new menu items.
