Site: Royal Oak Hotel. Betws-Y-Coed.

We are looking for enthusiastic & friendly people to deliver outstanding customer service as the first face that greets our guests as a part of our Front of House Team at The Grill Room, Lounge bar & Llugwy River Restaurant.

The role is a proactive one, so if you are flexible, well organised, a great team player and possess excellent communication skills along with a genuine desire to work in the hospitality industry we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that customers are served quickly, correctly and efficiently as possible. Deliver exceptional hospitality & ensure a genuine Croeso is given to make everyone feel welcome.

Learn about local ingredients and promote our Local - Seasonal - Fresh ethos to all our guests

Assume responsibility for stock, consumables and cash handling whilst on shift.

Ensure, as far as reasonably practical, the security and safety of customers with regard to health and safety and hygiene legislation. Licensing laws must be adhered to at all times.

Keep all areas allocated on shift as clean as possible at all times. At the end of service all areas must be thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the next shift.

Be prepared to help out in other departments in the hotel if should be necessary.

Ensure that you follow the correct procedures with regards food allergens.

Support the Food and Beverage Manager as and when required.

Experience & Skills

Ideally previous restaurant/hospitality experience

Excellent Communication skills

Outstanding Customer service skills

Ability to use initiative to resolve issues

Ability to multi-task

Salary: Up to 12.40 per hour plus own section tips.
