Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns promptly
Maintain cleanliness of tables, cutlery, and service stations throughout shifts
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with basic food preparation tasks if required, adhering to safety guidelines
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
Handle guest payments accurately using the POS system
Skills
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
