Duties

Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders, making recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage multiple tables effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth operation of service.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with culinary practices or food preparation is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A genuine passion for helping others and providing outstanding guest services is essential.
