Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and deliver outstanding guest services will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all details are captured. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet our culinary standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfilment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary knowledge is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. A passion for guest services, with a friendly demeanour that enhances the dining experience. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 8.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
