Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following restaurant procedures for payments. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and resolving any complaints effectively. Support catering events as required, ensuring that all aspects of service are executed flawlessly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in catering or barista roles is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
