Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as required, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and the kitchen environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions where necessary. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention throughout their dining experience.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to upsell menu items through persuasive communication techniques. A passion for culinary arts is desirable, enhancing your ability to engage with guests about menu offerings.
