Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our independent new opening. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to presentation standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in billing. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and beverages, enhancing the guest experience. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Experience in catering services is beneficial for handling larger events or functions. Familiarity with barista duties is a plus, enhancing beverage service capabilities. A keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of presentation and service quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure. A passion for providing excellent customer service that leaves a lasting impression on guests.
