Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.

Skills

Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards in food preparation and service. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is advantageous but not essential. Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and helping colleagues as needed.
