Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers receive top-notch hospitality. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour is essential.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing assistance as required. Participate in catering events when necessary, showcasing versatility in service styles. Support bartending duties during busy periods or special events if required.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Experience with food preparation or catering services is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role. A passion for providing excellent customer service is crucial for creating memorable experiences for our guests. Knowledge of Caribbean cuisine preferred but not essential

Pay: 12.50-12.73 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
