Job Overview

We are seeking experienced waiting staff to join our hospitality team working 5 or 6 days per week for evenings. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves engaging with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Previous experience in restaurant or catering environments is necessary. English speaking is also necessary.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special dietary requirements. Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, maintaining cleanliness and organisation. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including food safety protocols. Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods. Handle customer enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the bar area if applicable. Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is necessary. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is beneficial. Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service excellence. Candidates with experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering will find this role well-suited to their skills.
