You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly smile.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and drinks. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup and service. Uphold health and safety standards throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere. Experience in bartending or catering is considered a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
