Responsibilities

Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables. Presenting menus and providing detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and wine selections. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items. Taking accurate orders from customers efficiently, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner, adhering to proper service techniques and etiquette. Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any customer concerns promptly. Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment. Process payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as setting up tables, polishing silverware, and restocking supplies. Continuously striving to enhance the overall dining experience for guests through exceptional service and attention to detail.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong serving skills with an understanding of food safety practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience with catering services is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Barista experience is a plus for those interested in beverage service. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
