Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and the dining environment throughout the shift. Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while following proper cash handling procedures. Support catering events as required, ensuring all aspects of service are executed flawlessly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Bartending skills would be an advantage for serving alcoholic beverages. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in order taking and service delivery. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
