Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in their choices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages as per guest requests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Experience in catering or food preparation is advantageous. A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure. Barista experience is a plus, particularly in crafting specialty coffee drinks. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
