Job Description
Gloagburn is a well established family owned restaurant and farm shop on the outskirts of Perth, PH1 1QL.
Our 130 cover restaurant is open 8.30am to 5.30pm serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with the emphasis on good quality, seasonal, local and Scottish produce. In addition we hold steak nights on the last Friday in the month October through March.
Our busy and recently expanded Farm shop includes all the local produce you would expect as well as ingredients from around the world, our own bakery and in house butchery.
We are currently recruiting for experienced full time waiting staff to join our coffee shop team.
Shifts are 6 - 8 hours long starting between 8am and 11am and finishing between 4pm and 6pm .
Full time hours are approximately 35 per week working four or five days from seven on a rota basis, including weekends.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of food service or as a barista. You will be a positive, proactive, cheerful team player who thrives in a busy environment, has a genuine interest in local and seasonal food and takes pride in a high standard of customer service.
The role involves table service of food and beverages, greeting and seating customers, preparing and presenting cakes and puddings, using a coffee machine, cash handling and all associated tasks.
Due to our rural location and shift patterns you must have access to your own transport. We are not on a reliable bus route.
