Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Provide recommendations on menu items and specials, showcasing knowledge of the restaurant offerings. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Participate in catering events as required, demonstrating versatility in service roles.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bartending or catering is an advantage but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
