Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience with us. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in catering, food safety, and customer relations within a vibrant environment. Please note, weekend availability is essential to this role. The ideal candidate will also be able to work across both our Keston and Park Langley stores.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally Assist with setting up tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Experience with food preparation or restaurant operations is beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and organisation Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and work collaboratively within a team
