Overview

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction. Perform basic maths to process payments accurately.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety regulations is essential to maintain a safe dining environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment.
