Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring that all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Making and garnishing desserts to a high standard. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and creating positive experiences for diners. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy service periods. Experience in food preparation within a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine interactions with guests. A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
