We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive service, upselling menu items, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate orders and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with the preparation of tables, including setting up cutlery, glassware, and condiments. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables promptly after guests leave. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or dietary requirements. Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure guest safety. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests are attended to promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous. Strong guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to helping colleagues and contributing positively to the team atmosphere.

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
