Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and kitchen spaces throughout service. Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention during their visit.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Basic culinary skills for assisting in food preparation tasks. Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Willingness to help colleagues in the kitchen or dining area as needed.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
