Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing detailed information about menu items and daily specials. Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for immediate resolution to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain an organised work area, including cleaning tables and resetting them for the next guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services; ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds. A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of kitchen operations can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
