Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Provide information about menu items, including daily specials and catering options. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the restaurant. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain an organised workspace, including cleaning tables and resetting them for the next guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in catering or barista roles is an advantage but not essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
