We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waitress to join our vibrant team. As a Waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any requests they may have. Your ability to upsell menu items while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Keep the dining area clean and organised throughout service. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong upselling skills with an understanding of guest services. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
