Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or hospitality is highly desirable, alongside a passion for providing outstanding customer care. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of food safety standards and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and responding promptly to any requests or concerns Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the POS system Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining environment throughout shifts Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of food and beverages

Requirements

Previous experience in serving in a busy restaurant Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Experience with food preparation or barista skills is advantageous Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required A positive attitude with strong organisational skills
