Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, supporting the kitchen team. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including proper food safety practices. Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness in the dining area throughout service. Handle customer queries professionally, resolving any issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Support bar service by preparing beverages as required, including barista-style drinks if applicable. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including catering options, to assist guests effectively.

Skills

Experience in catering or serving within a hospitality environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation and handling. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods. Experience in restaurant settings or barista roles Organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and service delivery.
