Reporting to the Duty Manager, you work with the restaurant team, delivering fantastic, consistent service to the company's standards. You are guest-orientated, eager to deliver a high-quality dining experience compliant with all company standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest orientated service creating a fabulous atmosphere to dine in
To support the restaurant team to provide the guests with a level of service that is individualised and fully meets the company's objective
Comes with a positive attitude to shift to ensure the atmosphere is such that the guest wants to come back for more
You present yourself to shift in line with company standards of uniform and personal presentation
Actively participate in pre and post shift briefing, ensuring the delegated daily tasks are completed and that you have all the information to maximise the guest experience
Come to shift with a 'can do' mind-set which accommodates and anticipates guests' requests wherever possible
Support the duty manager and restaurant team to ensure that dissatisfied guests are dealt with quickly and effectively
After training, to be fully conversant in all food specs, ingredients, preparation, and kitchen procedures and to have good food knowledge to manage food delivery to excellent standards
Supports the team
Takes instruction from the Duty Manager with a positive attitude
Is a team player, responding promptly to all instructions from the Duty Chef and Duty Manager
Is open and willing to do all jobs that are put to them
Comes to shift with an enthusiastic and engaged attitude
Delivers company standards and policies as instructed by the management team
Participates in team meetings and gives feedback as appropriate to drive the business
Is active in their own service training
Delivers great results:
Controls portion sizes as dictated by their training
Manages waste as instructed by the Duty Chef
Maintains and cleans equipment to maximise their life
Ensures the safe delivery of stock to the correct place in the premises
To adhere to financial policy, practices, and procedures around stock security
Supports all marketing activity, events, and promotions as dictated by the Duty Manager
Support the General Managers action plan in delivering the P&L targets
To adhere to financial policy, practices, and procedures in particular regard to cash handling
To ensure the security of the site, including stock and the premises whilst on shift
Health and Safety and Food Safety:
Following training, is fully aware of, knowledgeable and focused on all legislative and company standards and procedures e.g. Licensing Laws, Health and Safety, Food Safety and delivers this on shift
To ensure Food Policy documentation is completed on a daily basis in accordance with company policy, as instructed by the duty manager
Ensure all equipment is in good working order, reporting to the General Manager if not
Adhere to the Food Safety and Health and Safety Management Systems to safeguard guests and team whilst on shift
To adhere to all open and closing tasks, including cleaning, and that this is delivered each shift as delegated by the Duty Manager
Ensure all COVID-19 risk assessments, policy and procedures are adhered to.
